Anacreon & Plato's Symposium // Oversized Crewneck Sweater

Part of the Poetcore series, ANACREON leans into indulgence without apology. The artwork is Anselm Feuerbach’s Plato’s Symposium (c. 1874)—a neoclassical vision of ancient gathering, where poetry, desire, and excess move freely.

His line anchors the piece: “Bring me the lyre, bring me the cup; let me be mad with love and wine.” A mood more than a quote—pleasure, presence, and refusal to hold back.

Printed on a vintage white sweatshirt, the tones feel softly aged, like something carried forward and still relevant. The back carries SACRA: EST. MMXXIV—grounding the piece in the present.

Cut in an oversized, boxy fit from heavyweight cotton fleece, it holds its shape with a soft, structured feel. Made for long nights, or whatever follows.

Our DTG-printed garments are produced for lasting color, softness, and quality. A slight fade after the first wash is normal and part of the garment’s character — it does not affect the quality or longevity of the piece.
