MERCH

Where does SACRA draw inspiration from?

SACRA draws heavily from mythology, ancient civilizations, classical art, folklore, and the rituals that once brought people together around beauty, mystery, and meaning. We are fascinated by the stories, symbols, and archetypes that have survived for centuries—and the way they continue to shape how we see ourselves today.

These influences are reinterpreted through a contemporary lens, blending ancient imagery with queer culture, art, performance, and modern self-expression.

What does SACRA mean?

The word ‘sacra’ refers to rites or rituals performed in honor of ancient deities. For us, it represents collective transformation through art, nightlife, performance, and ritual.

SACRA is a queer art and events studio creating garments, objects, and experiences inspired by mythology, ritual, nightlife, and the act of transformation. Some pieces are designed as apparel, others more like artifacts collected from a world that exists slightly outside of everyday life.

Are the symbols and graphics connected to real mythology?

Yes. We are drawn to imagery that has endured across centuries—gods, heroes, saints, flowers, animals, monuments, and works of art that continue to resonate long after their creation. Rather than treating them as decoration, we use them as a starting point for new stories, interpretations, and conversations.

Are your pieces released in permanent collections?

No. Most releases happen in small runs or limited drops. Some pieces may return in future rituals, others disappear permanently.

Will sold out items restock?

Sometimes. Certain garments and objects may return in revised forms, new colorways, or future drops, but we do not guarantee restocks.

Do you create custom pieces?

Occasionally, yes. We are open to select custom commissions, collaborations, and special projects depending on scope and availability. For inquiries contact us at sacraevents@gmail.com

Are your designs original?

Yes. Every SACRA piece is designed in-house. We frequently draw inspiration from mythology, classical art, folklore, and historical imagery, but our work is not intended as replication. Instead, we reinterpret these influences through SACRA's own aesthetic, creating something new while remaining in conversation with the past.

ARTWORK / COLLABORATIONS

What makes SACRA prints premium?

Our prints are produced using archival giclée printing, a process known for exceptional color accuracy, detail, and longevity. Compared to standard poster printing, giclée prints capture subtleties in tone, texture, and contrast much closer to the artist's intended vision.

We use premium fine art papers and canvas selected for their weight, surface quality, and durability. Archival pigment inks resist fading for decades under proper conditions, while our canvas options are professionally stretched and ready to display.

The result is not simply a reproduction, but a collectible art piece designed to be lived with and enjoyed for years to come.

Why are some prints released in limited quantities?

Some works are released as limited editions to help support the artists we collaborate with and to offer collectors something genuinely exclusive. Many of our prints are created in partnership with artists from the SACRA community, resulting in special collaborations that would not exist without that creative relationship.

By defining the size of an edition, we create a clear connection between the artist, the artwork, and the people who choose to collect it.

Not every SACRA print is limited. Some pieces are intended to remain widely available, while others are produced in smaller editions due to the nature of the work, the collaboration, or the artist's preference.

When a limited edition sells out, it may never be produced again.

What kind of collaborators does SACRA work with?

SACRA works with visual artists, performers, musicians, DJs, models, photographers, stylists, vendors, designers, brands, and other creative collaborators. We are especially interested in work that feels atmospheric, emotionally charged, visually distinct, or difficult to categorize.

How can I submit my work?

Please email us at sacraevents@gmail.com with:

  • a short introduction

  • portfolio, Instagram, or website

  • any relevant proposal, concept, or past work

Every submission receives a response, though timelines may vary depending on current projects.

Do you work with emerging artists or first-time collaborators?

Yes. While SACRA is curated, we are always interested in discovering new voices, emerging artists, and people with a strong point of view.

What kind of work fits SACRA?

We gravitate toward work that feels immersive, ritualistic, sensual, mythological, emotionally raw, theatrical, queer, or visually transformative. That said, we are less interested in strict categories and more interested in genuine artistic identity.

Are collaborations always paid?

Compensation depends on the scope of the project, available budget, and nature of the collaboration. Some opportunities are paid commissions, while others may be community-based or collaborative in spirit.

Does SACRA offer commissions or custom creative work?

Yes. SACRA is available for select commissions and creative collaborations, including:

  • immersive creative direction

  • installations

  • live drawing

  • performances

  • visual identity

  • merchandise graphics

  • nightlife concepts

  • custom art objects and environments

Do artists/vendors need to handle their own setup?

We do our best to support collaborators throughout the process and help create an environment where the work can exist properly. Exact logistics vary by project and venue.

EVENTS

What is a SACRA event?

SACRA events exist somewhere between nightlife, live art, ritual gathering, performance space, and queer celebration. Depending on the night, events may include DJs, live figure drawing, installations, performances, body painting, costuming, immersive environments, and dance floors.

Are SACRA events queer-focused?

Yes. SACRA is rooted in queer art, nightlife, and creative expression, while remaining open to anyone who approaches the space with respect and curiosity.

Are events 21+?

Yes. All SACRA events are currently 21+ unless otherwise stated.

Is nudity or figure drawing part of the events?

Sometimes. Certain events include live figure drawing, body painting, or performance elements involving varying levels of nudity. These elements are presented as part of the artistic environment, not as spectacle alone.

Can I take photos or videos?

Yes. Photography and video are allowed, but we ask guests to remain respectful of performers, models, artists, and other attendees. Please avoid flash photography and always be mindful of consent and personal boundaries. SACRA may also document events for archival and promotional purposes.

Is there a dress code?

There is no strict dress code, but we encourage guests to embrace transformation, fantasy, ritual, glamour, mythology, nightlife, or theatrical self-expression. Enter the world fully if you wish.

How can I perform, vend, or collaborate with SACRA?

Please contact sacraevents@gmail.com with your work, links, portfolio, or proposal. We are open to collaborations across nightlife, fashion, performance, visual art, queer culture, and immersive experiences.

Does SACRA work with brands or sponsors?

Yes. We are interested in partnerships with brands, spaces, and organizations aligned with art, queer culture, nightlife, fashion, and immersive creative experiences.

What kind of behavior is expected at SACRA events?

Respect for performers, artists, staff, and fellow guests is essential. SACRA maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward harassment, discrimination, aggressive behavior, or violations of consent.

Are SACRA events accessible?
