Roman Soldier is an original SACRA illustration created for the launch of the shop — a figure of strength, courage, desire, and defiance.
His Roman-inspired helmet, cloak, heroic stance, and mustard-gold palette draw from ancient soldiers, warrior gods, military textiles, ochres, and the sun-worn colors of the classical world. Yet this warrior is not only armored for battle — he is here to be seen.
His exposed body turns protection into something vulnerable, sensual, and queer. For SACRA, queer art is inherently courageous: it claims visibility, pleasure, and self-definition in a world that often asks us to hide.
His cape is patterned with SACRA’s poppy symbol — a liminal flower of sleep, dreams, death, thresholds, and passage. Here, the poppy becomes a banner for those who live at the edge and in the in-between: queer, pagan, erotic, and unashamed.

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the size, weight, and destination of your order.
Because each artwork is produced to order, please allow up to 2 weeks for production before shipment. Once your order ships, you will receive tracking information by email.
Due to the made-to-order nature of our prints and canvas works, we do not accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations for reasons such as change of mind, ordering the wrong size, or personal preference.
If your artwork arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at sacraevents@gmail.com and include photographs of the issue. We will work with you to arrange a replacement or other appropriate resolution.
