Fruit Bowl is part of Bacchanalia, a SACRA series born from queer myth, divine excess, live art, florals, worship, and very little interest in behaving.
Here, Ampelos — beloved of Dionysus and mythic spirit of the vine — becomes both offering and ornament: crowned in grapes, framed by poppies, and arranged at the altar like a still life with better legs. The classical objects and devotional composition give the piece the feeling of an ancient altar image. The pose gives it something else entirely.
Equal parts myth, joke, thirst trap, and ritual object, this piece celebrates the body as sacred, ridiculous, desirable, and worthy of worship. Some offerings are more generous than others.

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the size, weight, and destination of your order.
Because each artwork is produced to order, please allow up to 2 weeks for production before shipment. Once your order ships, you will receive tracking information by email.
Due to the made-to-order nature of our prints and canvas works, we do not accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations for reasons such as change of mind, ordering the wrong size, or personal preference.
If your artwork arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at sacraevents@gmail.com and include photographs of the issue. We will work with you to arrange a replacement or other appropriate resolution.
